History of Go4insight
Go4insight arose as a continuation of GfK Group’s successful story in Slovakia. After the closure of GfK Group’s ad-hoc research division in Slovakia, in 2018 research experts Rastislav Kočan and Július Filo founded Go4insight, which followed on from the activities of GfK Slovakia.
Since its establishment in 2018, it has developed into a reliable partner for dozens of companies across sectors—from finance and energy to telecommunications, retail, and FMCG.
“GfK Slovakia was the market leader among research agencies in Slovakia in 2017. Go4insight will no longer be the largest agency, but it aims to remain a leader in quality, added value for clients, and innovativeness,” said Go4insight co-founder Rastislav Kočan in 2018 for the monthly magazine Stratégie.
Evidence of client satisfaction is not only long-term cooperation but also the highest rating on Google among Slovak research agencies (5.0 stars with more than 40 reviews).
A Slovak team with global standards
Go4insight is a Slovak agency based in Bratislava, but its approach and work quality meet international standards.
The company is a member of SAVA (Slovak Association of Research Agencies), which brings together leading agencies operating in marketing and sociological research in Slovakia, where since 2021 Rastislav Kočan has served as chair.
Go4insight is also a member of the WIN – Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research, which connects independent research agencies around the world and supports knowledge exchange, joint projects, and international cooperation—placing the company among respected players in the European research community.
Through Rastislav Kočan and Július Filo, the agency is also a member of ESOMAR (European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research). Since 2025, Rastislav Kočan has been ESOMAR’s National Representative for Slovakia.

ESS – European Social Survey (Rounds 10 and 11, Slovakia) – Go4insight was part of the consortium responsible for data collection in Slovakia, data processing, and fulfilling the methodological requirements of this international research project.
